| GRACE – man is needy and God is the giver of every good and
perfect gift. Man’s greatest need, because of his sin, is reconciliation
to a Holy God. God met that need by giving His Son.
REFORMED – we trace our theological roots back to the 16th Century
Protestant Reformation, which theology has been summarized by these watchwords:
the Scriptures Alone are our authority in all matters of faith and practice.
And man can know salvation by Grace Alone, through Faith Alone, in Christ
Alone, to the Glory of God Alone.
BAPTIST – Christ commanded that His reasonable, responsible,
believing followers should be associated with His death, burial and resurrection
in the waters of baptism. We practice baptism by immersion as a prerequisite
for church membership.
CHURCH – “called out ones” meeting and joining together for the
purpose of worship, the observance of baptism and the Lord’s Table, service
and fellowship. We believe in the centrality of the local church
in the Christian’s life. |
